The Armagh City Hotel is a great choice whether you are exploring the region as a tourist, visiting the area on business or attending a conference. The hotel boasts all the comforts and facilities you need in a relaxing base and the impressive leisure facilities are a great way to relax after a hard day's work or a long day spent exploring the area. The journey time to Belfast is only 45 minutes and Dublin is only 90 minutes away. The hotel has extensive conference rooms and airy meeting rooms, with a total combined capacity of 1200 delegates. There are also banqueting facilities for up to 680 guests. Since it first opened its doors to the public in March 2002, the Armagh City Hotel has received a number of awards. Recently, at the prestigious Institute of Hospitality Northern Ireland Janus Awards for professionalism, the hotel was once again recognised. Head chef John Whyte beat off stiff competition to pick up the award for Head Chef - Large Scale. Assistant Bars Manager Henk Compier won the award for Junior Manager, Food & Beverage.
