The cottage is just a 10 - minute walk from both Windermere and Bowness, and all of their shops, restaurants and traditional pubs. Personally run by its owner, Leigh Giles, the guest house has gained an enviable reputation locally for its friendliness and excellent service, which has helped to build a regular clientele. A hearty breakfast is included in the room rate and free unlimited Wi - Fi wireless internet access is available throughout.
Guests of Montfort Cottage are also entitled to complimentary use of the leisure facilities at Parklands Country Club in Bowness, so don't forget to bring your swimming costume and a towel!
