The hotel is ideally located on the A49 just 6 miles from Hereford and 8 miles from Ross - on - Wye, on the original route that pilgrims took to visit the shrine of St Ethelbert. Guests can be assured of a good night's sleep in this peaceful location. Most rooms have superb views across the Golden Valley. The cosy bar has a roaring log fire in winter and access to the gardens during the summer. There is a range of snacks available at lunchtime and in the evenings. Our award - winning restaurant looks out over the gently rolling Herefordshire hills and in the evening it is the perfect location for a romantic candlelit dinner.
